Our Leadership

Ron Douglas
Ron Douglas

Ron Douglas is the President of TekCollect, overseeing all operational, technological, sales and financial activities throughout the U.S. As the primary leader for the company, Ron is responsible for all departmental directives and planning as well as development and strategy, in concert with the TekCollect management team.

Ron joined TekCollect in 2000 to spearhead collection software and internet development, and attained a variety of responsibilities in building infrastructure, accounting, customer service and sales. Some of his key achievements include all technology systems development, commission structures, optimizing customer service, and customizing client programs by industry, size, and more. Ron was named Executive Vice President in 2004 and President in 2015.

Prior to joining TekCollect, Ron spent several years managing software systems at a large warehousing and distribution firm. Ron received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business and Marketing from Wright State University.

David Hughes
David Hughes

David Hughes is TekCollect’s Vice President of Information Technology. David is responsible for all IT systems creation, development, and maintenance, as well as data security for the company. In addition, David serves as chief project engineer for all key client infrastructure origination.

David joined TekCollect as an IT systems engineer, where he developed all operations and web system portals and protocols. David was named the Vice President of IT in 2005.

Prior to joining TekCollect, David was responsible for infrastructure development for cities in and around central Ohio and served as a project engineer for three major banks including Chase. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from The Ohio State University.

Chet Groff
Chet Groff

Chet Groff is TekCollect’s Chief Operating Officer, reporting to President Ron Douglas. Chet is responsible for ensuring operational excellence and overseeing daily corporate management functions within the company.

Chet joined TekCollect in 2004 as its COO, and under his management the company has developed greater financial and logistical procedures, as well as refined customer care initiatives.

Prior to joining TekCollect, as a 35 year veteran in the industry. Chet began his career with over a decade in credit and finance and served as VP of Operations for two Top 5 ARM agencies.
